I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls; Grace - a very active and cheeky girl whom will be 4 come November, and Elise - a tiny but strong baby. I have growing passion for scrapbooking and baking. Scrapbooking is part of my motherhood life now as it gives me the creativity challenge which is very much needed to keep me alive and thinking. My layouts are mainly on my dear daughters, though sometimes I scrap on random things too. I am a card maker too.
I'm so glad I took up this hobby instead of playing games and watching tv while my kids are having their naps.
Since having Elise, I've been printing photos and making layouts of Elise. Being Grace, she had to ask why I did not print her photos and make layouts about her. And so I explain to her that I'm starting to scrap for Elise and will continue to make layouts about her. Thus, I showed her the 2 big album marked, Grace's Scrapbook. Her laughter, her questions and her remarks were priceless! And from the pages, we were reminded of some little things that happened and said! How precious! My little girl even replay some of the "events"!
(p/s Grace refer to the scrapbook albums as "Facebook"! Don't ask me why!)
Yes.....I'm a proud mother. Another Yay for Grace! This time is for her story telling competition! I have yet to receive the video clip from her school, but there's one that my sister recorded during my mom's birthday that I posted earlier here.
I'm at my parent's place and is using my sis's laptop. So, I could only share some photos that are in her laptop. Here's the photo of me and my mom and my daughter that we took during my mom's birthday. Don't we look alike?
Yesterday was my mother's birthday so we all get together to celebrate her birthday. As what all birthdays do, the celebration gets Grace really excited and in the mood. So, she was sporting enough to tell us a story.
Here's the video of her....it's not the best or very smooth....but I'm very very proud of her....
