4-month-old Elise

Time sure flies.....little Elise is now 4-month-old!

She's 5.35kg, about 58cm long and her head is 39cm. She sure is growing up and is also very healthy. She's always happy and smiling in the morning....she could lie in her little basket, sucking her fingers (or rather, fist), kicking her legs (I think...if her legs are longer, she will hang both her legs at each side of her basket) and smiling her way for about 30 minutes. Now, if you know her, this is the longest you will get from her and is already very kind to her mummy.

She is still super sticky to me, and now had begun identifying who's the stranger and she will make some faces and then cry if she sees one. She's kinda lazy when it comes to moving on her own. When she's in super good mood, she will turn from her back to tummy and sometimes turn back the other way. But if she's not in a good mood, she will lie straight then cry and cry and cry and cry until her whole head turns red! Sigh...

Her sleep pattern.....at night, she normally will knockout latest by 9.30pm, only waking up 1 or 2 time during midnight for feeding and then wakes up at 7.30am. Her sleeps in the day are usually short, except for the afternoon nap, when I nap with her.

She loves it when I turn on the music and sing for her, while watching me do some crafting. As long as she can see me, she's ok for about 15 minutes. Nothing longer....sigh....

Her 'hobbies' .....nursing, crying (if not cuddled), and tasting her fabulous fingers/fist. Oh...and she likes to grumble...a lot!

This month, I'll share with you a video of Elise.

Love the fingers and fists in her mouth! She's adorable - and her little rosebud mouth! :-) Samuel loves to eat his hands too ... and the dribble! Oh dear, I think I need plastic backed bibs! He's really only started dribbling since he's got teeth.
You are so lucky she's sleeping good at night for you. Samuel is still waking every 2-3 hours at night! He goes down around 8pm and then because he's not 100% with his teeth and he has a cough he's doing a lot of comfort feeding! Very tiring. He was doing 4 hour feeds in the night ... hope he goes back to that soon.
