2 Cards and a layout

Well, here's to share the 2 cards and a layout that I made last night (midnight..beware).

Anyway, the layout is based on Twisted Sketches, Sketch #004 and the twist is to use at least 1 transparency, can be any sort of see through embellishment. The layout is on Grace in one of her dress-ups. She loves putting on all sort of clothes and cloths and then run to her grandma's room (cause there's one big mirror there), then look at herself in the mirror. Gosh...even at this age? Yeah, even at this age, girls will always be girls!

This is rather a simple layout. I created the scalloped border by punching circles from a blue pattern paper, then arranging it behind the originally white cardstock. I inked the white cardstock using Antique Linen distress ink, then lightly stamped with scripts stamp, using Vintage photo distress ink. The butterfly (which is an overlay, i.e. see through embellishment), is originally white, but it couldn't stand out, so I coloured the backing with black marker. The alphas were originally yellow, I changed the colour and texture using Ranger's Copper Acrylic Paint dabber. Well, that's about it!
