A walk at the botanical garden

Little Grace was really excited when we told her we're going to the park (referring to botanical garden) on Monday morning. You see, hubby's aunt (Aunt Sue) and her son (James) are visiting from Australia, so we brought them to the botanical garden for a walk (to burn some calories), before heading to Bali Hai for breakfast.

She (I mean Grace) sure was happy that day. She kept on saying that she will race with Uncle James. As soon as we set foot on the botanical garden, she starting running. She even opt for the roads heading up hill and was running...yeah, running up hill (only a little girl can do that)...ehehhee...Eventually, almost three quarter of the journey, my little girl was tired and wanted the daddy to carry her. Lucky she did not ask the mummy to carry her. Else, we might have a headline in local newspapers the next day: "A 31 year-old mummy died of exhaustion"! wahahahaha.......Anyway, it was a great walking trip. And thereafter, a good breakfast and time catching up.

I left my camera in my drawer, so I used hubby's hand phone to take some of the photos. Which I couldn't wait longer to scrap it. Here it is, using sketch #28 from 52 sketches...52 weeks.

I created kind of a scene as the environment we were walking in....trees and grass. Used crackle paint for the tree leaves. You could see the effect on the second photo.

Materials:
Cardstock: Bazzill, Core'dinations
Others: Product packaging chipboard (as the leaves), felt (as the grass), Heidi Swapp She chipboard alphas, Dymo tag maker (for the journalling), Distress Crackle paint, Hero Art stamp (for the tree trunk), Staz On ink
